Parent Participation

It is important that your clubber comes prepared toe Awana each week.  To help ensure this, your participation is highly suggested.  Encourage your clubber to study his/her handbook each week and come prepared to stay at least ONE section per club night.  To ensure your child's safety, please make sure your child wears sneaks to Awana unless otherwise specified.

AWANA Discipline Guidelines

We do not ever expect to have any discipline problems with clubbers, but in those rare cases, we utilize the following guidlines with your child:

     A. To deter disruptive and unruly behavior, Awana workers use the "3" count for individuals

     B. If a child reaches the "3" count from discruptive and unruly behavior, then the following will take place

          1. An incident report will be filled out on any behavior that is unruly and shared with the parent/guardian. Continued disruptions will result in either the parent coming to the session to watch their child or a suspension of the child from Awana until the behavior problem is rectified

*Unruly behavior, as referred to in this section, can be defined as continued disruptions from a child that disrupts other children, an inability to behave once the child has been called down or talked to by a leader, any fowl or distasteful language, any disrespect of an Awana leader, or fighting with other children
